Ridge of high pressure area affecting eastern parts of Visayas, southern Luzon
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over the Philippines as a ridge of high pressure area extends over eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas, PAGASA said on Sunday.
In its 4 p.m. daily weather bulletin, PAGASA said it is also monitoring an active tropical cyclone outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
At 3 p.m., tropical storm Hinnamnor is located 2,860 kilometers east northeast of extreme Northern Luzon with maximum sustained winds at 75 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center, gustiness of up to 90 kph, and moving northwestward at 25 kph as.
The wind speed forecast for the whole country will be light to moderate while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate, ranging from 0.6 meters to 2.1 meters.
Maximum temperature is 32.4°C at 2 p.m. and the minimum temperature is 25.1°C at 6 a.m., PAGASA said.
