PAGASA: Easterlies to bring rain showers across the country
The easterlies will affect the eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao, weather bureau PAGASA said Monday.
According to PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by easterlies.
Residents were advised to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for the whole country will be light to moderate moving in the east to southeast direction, while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate, ranging from 0.6 meters to 2.1 meters.
Maximum temperature is 32.6°C at 1:50 p.m. and the minimum temperature is 25°C at 5 a.m., PAGASA said.
