ITCZ to bring rains over parts of country - PAGASA


The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Palawan, Visayas, and Mindanao, according to weather bureau PAGASA on Friday. 

Based on PAGASA’s 4 p.m. weather forecast, Visayas, Palawan, Northern Mindanao, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

It warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for the whole country will be light to moderate while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.
