LPA, localized thunderstorms to bring rains across country
A low pressure area (LPA) and localized thunderstorms will bring rains across the country, PAGASA said Thursday.
As of 3 p.m., the LPA (formerly Queenie) was located 140 kilometers east of Davao City.
In its 4 p.m. bulletin, the weather bureau said cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced over Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Davao Region, Soccsksargen, Lanao del Sur, and Maguindanao due to the LPA.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the localized thunderstorms.
PAGASA warned the public of possible flash floods or landslides due to the rains.
Wind speeds will be light to moderate, while coastal water conditions will be slight to moderate.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:52 a.m. — Sundy Locus/VBL, GMA News
