LPA will bring rains over Bicol region, Vis-Min areas —PAGASA
A Low Pressure Area (LPA) spotted 65 kilometers east-southeast of Surigao City in Surigao del Norte will bring rains to the Bicol region and some areas in the Visayas and Mindanao.
In its 3 p.m. weather bulletin, state weather bureau PAGASA said the Bicol region, Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur will have cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rain showers and thunderstorms due to the effects of the LPA.
Also, PAGASA said that flooding or landslides may occur in areas that will be hit by moderate to heavy with at times intense rains.
Likewise, Metro Manila, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and the rest of Visayas and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.
Floods and landslides from moderate to heavy rains remain a threat to affected areas.
Meanwhile, the rest of Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or localized thunderstorms. Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.
