Cloudy skies, isolated rains to prevail over PH

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) continues to affect areas in extreme Northern Luzon, while easterlies are being felt over the rest of the country, state weather bureau PAGASA reported Tuesday.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will prevail over Batanes and the Babuyan Islands due to the Northeast Monsoon.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned that severe thunderstorms may occur, triggering flash floods or landslides.

Meanwhile, the Philippines will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate waters, except for extreme Northern Luzon with moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila is forecast at 6:12 on Wednesday morning. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/ VDV, GMA Integrated News
