Light rain expected over north Luzon islands -PAGASA

The Batanes and Babuyan Islands could expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditons accompanied by isolated light rain due to the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan, weather service PAGASA said in a Saturday afternoon forecast.

Albay, Sorsogon, and Catanduanes could meanwhile expect cloudy conditions with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the Easterlies.

The rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the Easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the east to northeast over Luzon and the eastern section of the Visayas.

Coastal conditions in these areas would be moderate to rough.

Over the rest of the country, winds would be light to moderate from the east to northeast, with slight to moderate coastal conditions. — DVM, GMA Integrated News
