Shear line, Amihan to bring rains over parts of Luzon, Visayas
The shear line will be affecting the eastern section of the Visayas while the Northeast Monsoon (Smihan) will affect Luzon and the rest of the Visayas on Saturday, PAGASA reported.
Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Surigao del Norte, and Dinagat Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line with possible flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Bicol Region, and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but with no significant impact.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with no significant impact.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas is strong and moving northeastward. Coastal waters will be rough.
The rest of the country will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.
