PAGASA: Cloudy skies in parts of PH due to Northeast Monsoon, shear line

The Northeast Monsoon and shear line will bring cloudy skies over parts of the Philippines, PAGASA said in its daily weather forecast on Wednesday.

Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the shear line.  This weather condition might bring flash floods or landslides spurred by moderate to at times heavy rains.

The Northeast Monsoon will also bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley and Aurora provinces.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be experienced over Metro Manila and the rest of the country also due to the Northeast Monsoon.

Meanwhile, strong winds with rough waters may be felt in the eastern sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.

The rest of the country is forecast to experience moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:25 a.m. on Friday.—Jiselle Anne Casucian/LDF, GMA Integrated News
