PAGASA: Light rain expected over Batanes, Cagayan

The Northeast Monsoon would affect Extreme Northern Luzon, bringing cloudy conditions and light rain over Batanes and Cagayan, weather service PAGASA reported in a Friday afternoon forecast.

The Ilocos and Cordillera Administrative Region, as well as the rest of the Cagayan Valley Region, would also be under the influence of the Northeast Monsoon and could expect partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rain.

Meanwhile, the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur due to the said weather conditions.

Winds over northern Luzon would be moderate to strong, with moderate to rough coastal conditions.

The rest of the country could expect light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas.
