Amihan to bring cloudy skies, light rains over North, Central Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) would bring cloudy skies and rain over Northern and Central Luzon while the easterlies would affect the rest of the country, PAGASA said Monday.

In its 4 a.m. forecast, PAGASA said Amihan would bring cloudy skies with light rain over Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol Region.

Similarly, Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon would experience partly clody to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to Amihan.

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to easterlies or localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA warned of possible flash floods or landslides in the affected areas during severe thunderstorms.

PAGASA also said Luzon and the eastern section of Visayas would have moderate to strong wind blowing east to northeast, with
coastal waters expected to be from moderate to Rough / (1.2 to 3.5 meters).

For the rest of the country, light to moderate blowing from east to northeast is expected.
