Amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, rains over parts of PH
The northeast monsoon (amihan) will be affecting Northern and Central Luzon while the easterlies will be affecting the rest of the country on Wednesday, PAGASA reported.
Eastern Visayas, Sorsogon, and Masbate will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies with possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Cagayan Valley, Apayao, and Kalinga will have cloudy skies with rains due to the northeast monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Aurora and Northern Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains due to the northeast monsoon with no significant impact.
Metro Manila, Ilocos Region and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, and CALABARZON will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon but with no significant impact.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms with possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is strong and moving northeastward with rough coastal waters.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate wind speed moving northeastward with slight to moderate coastal waters.
