Amihan to bring rain over parts of Luzon
The Northeast Monsoon is affecting several parts of Luzon while the rest of the country is still feeling the effects of the easterlies.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Wednesday afternoon, the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms at the Eastern Visayas and in the Caraga region.
The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, and Quezon, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The rest of the country, on the other hand, may have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms because of the combined effects of the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Possible flash floods and landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, Northern Luzon is forecast to have strong winds with rough waters, while Central Luzon will be having moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters.
The rest of the country will be experiencing light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6 a.m. on Thursday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/RF, GMA Integrated News
