Habagat to bring cloudy skies, rain over parts of Luzon, Visayas
The western sections of Luzon and Visayas continue to experience cloudy skies and rain showers because of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Saturday afternoon, Habagat will cause cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Region, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Zambales, Bataan, Calabarzon, the rest of Mimaropa, and Western Visayas.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, the whole country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:26 a.m. on Sunday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
