Rain showers, thunderstorms to affect PH
The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will affect several areas of the country, PAGASA said Friday.
Based on the 4 p.m. weather forecast, the Southwest Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Western Visayas, Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi.
It warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Luzon and Visayas will experience light to moderate winds moving southeast to southwest.
Light to moderate winds moving southwest to south will be observed in Mindanao.
The coastal waters of the country will be slight to moderate.
