Habagat to bring cloudy skies, rains over S. Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao
The southwest monsoon (habagat) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the western sections of Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Friday, PAGASA reported.
Mindanao, Western Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy rains.
Metro Manila, the rest of MIMAROPA, Batangas, Cavite, and Laguna will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the southwest monsoon with flash floods or landslides possibly occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring during severe thunderstorms.
The whole country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the southwest to southeast direction with slight to moderate coastal waters.
