Thunderstorm advisory up over Metro Manila, 6 Luzon provinces

Metro Manila and six provinces in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Friday afternoon.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 12:16 p.m., state weather bureau PAGASA said the other affected areas are:

• Zambales,
• Bataan,
• Batangas,
• Cavite,
• Laguna,
• Tarlac.

Meanwhile, Masantol, Santa Ana, and Mexico in Pampanga; Hagonoy and Paombong in Bulacan; and Binangonan in Rizal are currently experiencing moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds.

It may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.
