PAGASA monitors LPA near Batanes

PAGASA is monitoring a low pressure area that was last seen 290 kilometers north northeast of Itbayat, Batanes, according to its daily weather forecast on Friday afternoon.

The Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) will continue to bring cloudy skies over the extreme Northern Luzon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms is also expected over Batanes and Babuyan Islands due to the Habagat.

Localized thunderstorms may also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas due to the said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be felt over the Philippines.
