Northeast Monsoon to bring rains over Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is affecting Luzon on Sunday and will bring rains, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, but with no significant impact.

Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may occur.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in the Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
