Northeast Monsoon to bring clouds, rains over Luzon

The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) is affecting Northern and Central Luzon on Monday and will bring clouds and rains, PAGASA said in its weather forecast.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with rains, with the possibility of flash floods or landslides occurring due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon may expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains, but with no significant impact.

Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Dinagat Islands, and Davao Oriental meanwhile will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.

The rest of the country on the other hand will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies. During severe thunderstorms, flash floods or landslides may result.

Coastal waters will be moderate to rough in Northern Luzon, and slight to moderate in the rest of the country.
