PAGASA: Amihan, shear line to bring light rains over parts of PH

The shear line is seen to affect the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and the Visayas, while the Northeast Monsoon or amihan will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, PAGASA said in its 4 a.m. bulletin.

According to the weather bureau, cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are to be expected in the Bicol Region and Eastern Visayas caused by shear line.

The easterlies will prevail over Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur bringing cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms triggered by the easterlies.

Cloudy skies with light rains are to be expected in Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon and the rest of Luzon due to amihan.

The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought by the easterlies.

As of 2 a.m. Wednesday, PAGASA said no low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation.
