Easterlies to affect most parts of PH
The easterlies will bring cloudy skies and rains over most parts of the country in the next 24 hours, according to the state weather bureau PAGASA on Thursday afternoon.
Because of the easterlies, the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, SOCCSKSARGEN, Quezon, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi will see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
The Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Central Luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan).
Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions are expected across the country.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:25 a.m. on Friday. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
