Shear line, Amihan, easterlies to bring cloudy skies, scattered rains over parts of PH

The shear line will affect Palawan and Visayas, the Northeast Monsoon (Amihan) will prevail over the rest of Luzon, while the easterlies will bring clouds and scattered rains over a part of Mindanao on Tuesday, PAGASA reported.

The rest of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies. Moderate to at times heavy rains may possibly result in flash floods or landslides.

Batanes, Cagayan, and Isabela will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon, and flash floods or landslides may occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.

The wind speed forecast for Northern Luzon is strong to gale moving northeastward while coastal waters will be rough to very rough.

Central Luzon will experience moderate to strong winds moving northeastward while coastal waters will be moderate to rough.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds moving northeastward with slight to moderate coastal waters.
