Shear line, amihan, ITCZ will bring cloudy skies rains over parts of PH

The Shear Line will be affecting the Visayas region, the Northeast Monsoon (amihan) will affect Luzon while parts of Mindanao will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) on Thursday, PAGASA reported.

Visayas, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Romblon, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the Shear Line with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to heavy rains.

Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, and the rest of Bicol Region will have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Davao Region and the rest of Caraga will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon but this will have no significant impact.

The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ with the possibility that flash floods or landslides will occur during severe thunderstorms.

The wind speed forecast for northern and eastern sections of Luzon is strong moving northeastwqrd with rough coastal waters.

The eastern sections of Visayas and Mindanao will experience moderate to strong wind speed moving in the east to northeast direction with moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate wind speed moving in the northeast to north  direction while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
