Multiple weather systems to bring rains over PH
Most parts of the country will experience cloudy skies with rains Thursday due to multiple weather systems, state weather bureau PAGASA said Wednesday afternoon.
In its 24-hour public weather forecast, PAGASA said Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, Kalinga, and Aurora may see cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms due to the shear line, while Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).
The Northeast Monsoon (Amihan), on the other hand, will bring cloudy skies with rains over Batanes and Babuyan Islands,
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.
PAGASA warned the public that flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas during heavy rains and thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters may be felt over the northern and eastern sections of the country.
The rest of the country will observe light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Temperatures in the country will range from a minimum of 23.8 °C to a maximum of 33.6 °C over the next 24-hour period.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:21 a.m. on Thursday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/AOL, GMA Integrated News
