Shear line, easterlies, Amihan to bring rains across PH


Cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms are expected across the country on Wednesday, according to PAGASA.

Based on the agency's 4 p.m. weather bulletin, the shear line will affect Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Caraga. 

In the Davao Region, cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will be brought by easterlies while the rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. 

Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, and Camarines Sur will also have cloudy skies with rains due to the Northeast Monsoon or Amihan.

Meanwhile, in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will be brought by the northeast monsoon, but with no significant impact expected. 

As of 2 p.m. today, no low-pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation, PAGASA noted.
