ITCZ, easterlies to bring rains in parts of PH

Two weather systems continue to cause rains in parts of the country

Two weather systems continue to cause rains in parts of the country, according to PAGASA on Tuesday.

PAGASA said that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) may cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Misamis Occidental, Lanao del Norte, Lanao del Sur, and Palawan.

The rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.

Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, the entire country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Temperatures in the Philippines will range from a minimum of 24.5 °C to a maximum of 34.3 °C over the next 24-hour period.

Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:47 a.m. on Wednesday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/ VAL, GMA Integrated News
