ITCZ to bring rain over Visayas, Mindanao
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is expected to bring rains over several parts of the Visayas and Mindanao.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Thursday afternoon, the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Davao Region, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions, PAGASA cautioned.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be felt all over the country.
Temperatures in the Philippines will range from a minimum of 24.6°C to a maximum of 35.5°C over the next 24-hour period.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:45 a.m. on Friday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/RF, GMA Integrated News
