Easterlies to bring rains over parts of PH

The easterlies will continue to cause rains over the country, according to PAGASA’s weather forecast on Tuesday afternoon.

The weather bureau forecast that cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected over Zamboanga Peninsula, Davao del Sur, Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.

Flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.

Meanwhile, Northern Luzon may experience moderate winds to moderate coastal waters.

The rest of the country will experience light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Temperatures in the country will range from a minimum of 26.7°C to a maximum of 34.9°C over the next 24-hour period.
