Warm, humid conditions to prevail during Holy Week holidays
The Philippines will experience warm and humid conditions during the Holy Week holidays this year.
PAGASA said that from Holy Wednesday to Easter Sunday (April 16 to 20) it would be warm and humid, with possible localized rain showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening because of the easterlies.
''The public is advised to limit physical outdoor activities between 10:00 in the morning and 4:00 in the afternoon to avoid fatigue, heat cramps, and heat exhaustion. Drinking water regularly, taking breaks in shaded areas, and wearing light-colored clothing are also encouraged,'' PAGASA said in its special weather outlook.
On Thursday, the whole country will have light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:41 a.m. on Thursday. —Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
