Cloudy skies, thunderstorms expected as easterlies affect PH

The easterlies will continue to affect the country.

Because of the easterlies, cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will prevail over Surigao del Sur and Davao Oriental, PAGASA said in its early Saturday morning forecast.

The rest of the country will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

PAGASA also predicted light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters across the country.
