PAGASA: Rains in parts of PH due to 2 LPAs
Two low-pressure areas (LPA) are causing rainy weather conditions in parts of the country.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast on Tuesday afternoon, an LPA was seen 190 kilometers east northeast of Borongan City, Eastern Samar at around 3 p.m., while another LPA was seen 415 kilometers west of Abucay, Bataan.
The LPA is causing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms in Visayas and Caraga.
The easterlies are also bringing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Caraga and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be felt over parts of the country as a result of said weather conditions.
