PAGASA: 2 LPAs to cause rains in Visayas, Bicol Region
Weather bureau PAGASA said it is monitoring two low pressure areas (LPA) inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility forecast to trigger rains in the Visayas and parts of Luzon.
As of 3 a.m. Wednesday, the LPA was estimated based on all available data over the coastal waters of Kalibo, Aklan. Another LPA was at 425 km West of Iba, Zambales.
The LPAs will affect the Visayas, Bicol Region, MIMAROPA, and Quezon, which will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms.
Caraga is also expected to have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
The easterlies will also affet Metro Manila and the rest of the country with partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
