PAGASA: Easterlies, frontal system to bring rains across PH

State weather bureau PAGASA said scattered rains are likely in parts of the country due to the frontal system and the easterlies.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, it said that Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms triggered by the frontal system.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms as a result of the easterlies.

PAGASA said no low pressure areas are being monitored for tropical cyclone formation as of 2 a.m. Sunday.
