Frontal system to affect Batanes, Babuyan Islands
Batanes and the Babuyan Islands may see cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms because of the frontal system, the state weather bureau PAGASA said on Tuesday afternoon.
In its 24-hour weather forecast, PAGASA said Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Palawan are expected to experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the trough of a low pressure area.
The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Extreme Northern Luzon is predicted to have moderate winds and coastal water conditions, while the rest of the country is expected to experience moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
The sun will rise over Metro Manila at 5:26 a.m. on Wednesday. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
