Parts of PH will see cloudy skies, rains due to ITCZ, easterlies
Several areas of the country are expected to experience rain in the next 24 hours due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and easterlies, PAGASA said Thursday afternoon.
In its 4 p.m. daily weather forecast, the state weather bureau said cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms would persist over Mindanao due to the ITCZ.
The same weather conditions are expected over Aurora and Quezon due to the easterlies.
Moderate to at times heavy rains may trigger flash floods and landslides.
The easterlies will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country.
Severe thunderstorms may cause flash floods and landslides.
Winds will be light to moderate, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate throughout the country.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:28 a.m. on Friday. — Mariel Celine Serquiña/VBL, GMA Integrated News
