Habagat to continue bringing rains across PH
Most parts of the Philippines will have cloudy to rainy weather because of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), PAGASA said in its Saturday afternoon forecast.
The monsoon is expected to cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Visayas, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan, Albay, and Sorsogon, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila, CALABARZON, the rest of MIMAROPA, and Mindanao.
The rest of Luzon will expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms caused by localized thunderstorms.
Flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions.
Meanwhile, the country may experience light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal waters.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday. — Jiselle Anne Casucian/VBL, GMA Integrated News
