Thunderstorm advisory up over Metro Manila, 4 Luzon areas

Metro Manila and four provinces in Luzon will experience moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Wednesday morning, state weather bureau PAGASA said.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 8:15 a.m., July 2, PAGASA said the other affected areas are: 

• Tarlac,
• Bulacan,
• Quezon, and
• Cavite.

Meanwhile, Morong in Bataan; Olongapo, Subic, San Antonio, Botolan, Cabangan, San Marcelino in Zambales; and Porac in Pampanga are currently experiencing moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds.

The weather condition may persist in two hours and affect nearby areas.

Affected residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
