Thunderstorm advisory up over Metro Manila, 3 Luzon areas

Metro Manila and three provinces in Luzon are expected to experience moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds Wednesday morning.

In a thunderstorm advisory issued at 9 a.m., July 9, state weather bureau PAGASA said the affected areas are: 

• Bulacan, 
• Cavite, and 
• Batangas.

Meanwhile, moderate to heavy rains with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in the following areas: 

• Zambales (Masinloc, Palauig, Iba, Botolan, Cabangan, San Marcelino), 
• Tarlac (Capas, Bamban), 
• Bataan (Morong, Abucay, Balanga, Limay, Mariveles), and 
• Pampanga (Lubao) 

It may persist within two hours and affect nearby areas.

PAGASA advised affected residents to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides.—AOL, GMA Integrated News
