Habagat affects Northern Luzon

The Southwest Monsoon or Habagat will prevail over Northern Luzon, PAGASA said in its early Saturday morning forecast.

Cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms are expected over Batanes, while partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are forecast for the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience localized thunderstorms.

Winds will be moderate to strong along with moderate to rough coastal waters in the northern and western sections of Northern Luzon.

The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas.
