Heavy rainshowers expected over areas in MIMAROPA, Visayas

Visayas PAGASA Regional Services Division issued Thunderstorm Advisory No. 16 at 11:01 a.m. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, on moderate to heavy rainshowers expected over areas in the Visayas and MIMAROPA Regions. 

Moderate to Heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are expected over #Bohol (Tagbilaran City, Maribojoc, Cortes, Catigbian, Antequera, San Isidro, Calape, Loon, Trinidad), #Samar (Santa Margarita, Gandara, Pagsanghan, Tarangnan, San Jorge), #Occidental Mindoro (Mamburao, Santa Cruz, San Jose), #Palawan (Coron and Agutaya) within the next one (1) to two (2) hours.

The above conditions are being experienced in #OccidentalMindoro (Abra De Ilog) which may persist within one (1) to two (2) hours and may affect nearby areas.

"All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides. Keep monitoring for updates," DOST-PAGASA added. —GMA Regional TV
