Thunderstorms expected across PH

Both the easterlies and localized thunderstorms will affect weather conditions in the country in the next 24 hours, PAGASA said in its Tuesday afternoon forecast.

The easterlies will cause cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Rizal, Quezon, Aurora, Marinduque, and Northern Samar, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila, Mindanao, the rest of Visayas, the rest of CALABARZON, and the rest of MIMAROPA.

The rest of Luzon will see partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms as a result of localized thunderstorms.

Flash floods or landslides may occur.

Meanwhile, light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters are expected across the country.
