Parts of Visayas, Mindanao to experience cloudy skies, rains due to LPA trough

The trough of the low pressure area will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms to Eastern Visayas, Caraga, and Davao Oriental, PAGASA said in its early Friday morning forecast.

At 3 a.m., the LPA was located 540 km east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. 

The same weather conditions will be present in the rest of Luzon and the rest of Visayas due to the easterlies, while the rest of Mindanao will see localized thunderstorms. 

Winds will be light to moderate along with slight to moderate coastal waters in Luzon and Visayas. In Mindanao, winds will be light with slight coastal water conditions.
