LPA, easterlies to bring cloudy skies with rain over Metro Manila, several parts of PH


Cloudy skies accompanied by possible rain is expected this Saturday, September 13, according to PAGASA.

In its public weather forecast bulletin issued at 4 a.m., the state weather bureau said the low pressure area was estimated based on all available data at 140 km east of Borongan City, Eastern Samar at 3 a.m. 

Meanwhile, the easterlies will be affecting several parts of Luzon. These include Metro Manila, Visayas, CALABARZON, and the Bicol Region.

Experiencing similar conditions are Northern Mindanao, Caraga, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, and Zamboanga del Norte.

The rest of Luzon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the LPA. 

“Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rains,” PAGASA said.

The rest of Mindanao should expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms. 

The public is advised to prepare for possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Coastal waters will be slight to moderate.
