Several weather systems to bring rains across PH – PAGASA
Multiple weather systems continue to bring scattered rains over several parts of the country, according to PAGASA.
Based on the daily weather forecast posted on Friday afternoon, the Northeast Monsoon will cause cloudy skies with rains over Batanes and Cagayan, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and Cordillera Administrative Region.
Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Caraga, Isabela, Aurora, and Quezon will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms brought by the easterlies.
the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Zamboanga Peninsula, Palawan, Sarangani, South Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, and Basilan, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of Mindanao.
The easterlies will also cause partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over the rest of the country.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters will be felt in Extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas as the rest of the country experiences light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
