Most parts of PH to see cloudy skies, rain due to 3 weather systems
Three weather systems—easterlies, the Northeast Monsoon, and the ITCZ—will cause cloudy skies and rain in most parts of the Philippines, according to PAGASA's early Saturday morning forecast.
The easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, Central Visayas, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, Mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, and Davao Oriental, while the ITCZ will affect the Zamboanga Peninsula, Palawan, and the rest of Mindanao.
Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms are expected over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the easterlies.
Cloudy skies with rain will occur over the Batanes and Babuyan Islands.
Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough coastal water conditions are possible in extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern sections of Luzon and Visayas.
The rest of the country will have light to moderate winds and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.
Sunrise in Metro Manila will be at 6:16 a.m. Sunset is expected at 5:32 p.m. — VBL, GMA Integrated News
