Easterlies, Amihan causing rains in parts of PH
The easterlies and the Northeast Monsoon are both causing rains over several parts of the Philippines on Saturday.
According to PAGASA’s daily weather forecast, the easterlies are causing cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Palawan, and Davao Oriental.
The Northeast Monsoon will bring cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and Cagayan, and partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon.
The rest of the country will be having partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies.
Possible flash floods or landslides may occur in some areas as a result of said weather conditions.
Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds with moderate to rough waters may be felt over Extreme Northern Luzon and the eastern section of the country.
The rest of the country will feel light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters.
