State weather bureau PAGASA said Sunday cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms will continue over Eastern Visayas and parts of Bicol due to the easterlies.

In its 4 p.m. weather forecast, PAGASA said Eastern Visayas, Caraga, Sorsogon, and Masbate may expect cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms caused by the easterlies.

It warned residents in these areas of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms, also due to the easterlies.

The weather bureau said flash floods or landslides remain possible in these areas during severe thunderstorms.

State meteorologists added that winds across the country will be light to moderate, moving from the east to northeast, while coastal waters will be slight to moderate.

On Sunday, Metro Manila's temperature reached a maximum of 35.7 degrees Celsius at 3 p.m., while the minimum temperature was 25.2 degrees Celsius at 5 a.m.

PAGASA said relative humidity ranged from 43% at 3 p.m. to 80% at 5 a.m.
