The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday that easterlies will continue to affect Mindanao as well as the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and Visayas, bringing cloudy skies and scattered rainshowers in several areas.

In its 4:00 a.m. public weather forecast, PAGASA said the Zamboanga Peninsula, Basilan, and Tawi-Tawi will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to easterlies.

The Bicol Region, Eastern Visayas, and the rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms, also caused by easterlies. PAGASA warned that flash floods or landslides are possible during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country are expected to have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms, with a similar risk of flash floods or landslides during severe weather.

PAGASA also reported that at its Science Garden station in Quezon City, the highest temperature recorded on Saturday was 32.5°C at 11:00 a.m., while the lowest was 26.2°C at 5:00 a.m.

High tide was recorded at 8:23 a.m. with a height of 1.35 meters, while low tide occurred at 5:01 p.m. at -0.2 meters.

Sunrise is expected at 5:27 a.m. and sunset at 6:26 p.m.—MCG. GMA News
