Typhoon Inday has exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), PAGASA said Saturday.
In its 11 a.m. bulletin, PAGASA said Typhoon Inday exited PAR at 08:20 a.m.
"INDAY is forecast to remain as a typhoon within the next 12 hours before weakening into a severe tropical storm after moving further inland over mainland China," PAGASA said.
Batanes, meanwhile, remains under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 1., with winds of 39-61 km/h may be expected in at least 36 hours or intermittent rains may be expected within 36 hours.
Minimal to minor impacts from strong winds are also possible.

Further, the enhanced Southwest Monsoon and the periphery of Typhoon Inday will bring strong to gale-force gusts over most of the country, PAGASA said.
The center of Typhoon Inday was estimated based on all available data at 590 km North Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (OUTSIDE PAR) (25.6 °N, 124.2 °E ).
Moving north northwestward at 20 km/h, it has maximum sustained winds of 140 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 170 km/h. —VAL, GMA News
